Varley joins Newett Homes as COO
The Wetherby-headquartered housebuilder has swooped on Avant Homes to hire Scott Varley as its new chief operating officer.
In a LinkedIn post, Newett said that with more 25 years of experience in the housebuilding industry, Varley will bring to the firm a wealth of knowledge, strategic vision, and a proven track record of driving growth and operational excellence.
Varley said: “Joining Newett Homes at this pivotal moment in their growth journey is an exciting opportunity. I am eager to contribute to the company’s ambitious plans and drive forward its strategic initiatives with a focus on delivering high-quality, design-led homes.
“I look forward to working with the talented team at Newett Homes to achieve our ambitious plans and continue to build exceptional communities for our customers.”
Varley had spent close to 18 years with Avant, working up from land director covering Yorkshire to regional chairman.
Established in 2016 by Will Newett, the eponymous developer last year secured £10m backing from the Business Growth Fund.
