Incommunities signs delivery deal for first phase of Bradford’s City Village 

Newly created Future Works Infrastructure has said it could deliver a 14-mile dual-carriageway tunnel beneath the Peak District to connect the two major Northern cities for a fraction of what government had priced a similar scheme.

Knight Frank has been instructed to market Lawnswood Business Park in Leeds, with the multi-let office estate comrpising around 150,000 sq ft of office accommodation across a nine-acre site.

A series of road closures will be introduced across the town over the coming months as major civil engineering works progress on the £10bn TRU project.

The grade one-listed civic building is managed by Calderdale Council, and the project forms part of the wider £17.5m Todmorden Town Deal investment programme funded by the government.

The 10-week submission window will inform development across the borough into the 2040s.

The South Yorkshire town has made it to the final 15 out of around 400 contenders, with its eye on a £3m grant for cultural events if successful. 

The contractor will continue its work on the project and deliver a 330,000 sq ft emergency department that will double the size of the facility.
