Leeds Dock hits the market for £10.75m

In timely news, the host venue of UKREiiF is being sold after owner Leaseco 23 went into administration last December.

Cushman & Wakefield has been appointed to manage the sale of the mixed-use asset, which comprises around 138,000 sq ftof ground floor commercial space and office buildings Livingstone House and Stanley House.

Located in the South Bank area of the city, Leeds Dock is a self-styled creative district with a mix of office, retail, leisure, and residential.

No residential units at the Dock are affected by the sale.

Occupiers at the site include Tesco, Pizza Express, Journey Further, Mumtaz, P+HS Architects, Luminate Education Group, and Places for People.

Leaseco sits within the wider Allied London property group, and was set up to manage the Leeds Dock assets. Interpath has been appointed to manage the administration process.

James Yates, partner, capital markets at Cushman & Wakefield, said: “Leeds Dock has gained a strong national profile through UKREiiF and has a stunning location on Leeds’ South Bank.

“The estate offers investors a highly prominent and substantial mixed-use opportunity in a key regeneration and growth area for the city.

“There are opportunities to immediately add value and potentially access a wider land holding in the area.
