Leaseco 23 goes into administration
Formerly known as Leeds Dock Ltd and part of the wider Allied London group, the company owns the Malthouse, has leaseholds for 24 ground-floor commercial units at Leeds Dock, and an economic interest in two buildings there – Livingstone House and Stanley House.
The Malthouse is adjacent to Leeds Dock and is a recently renovated freehold property.
No residential units at the Dock are affected.
Cushman & Wakefield have been appointed to oversee interest in said assets, while Rick Harrison and Steve Absolom from Interpath were appointed joint administrators on 17 December, 2025.
Rick Harrison, managing director at Interpath and joint administrator, said: “Leeds Dock has grown to become one of Leeds’ most vibrant leisure, commercial and residential districts, and in particular, as a hub for companies in the media, technology and the creative industries.
“Over the coming weeks and months, we will be working closely with our appointed property managers, as well as other key stakeholders, to ensure continuity in the operation and management of the numerous commercial units, while we assess options to bring the asset to market.
“We are aware that the freehold for Zones 2 and 3 at Leeds Dock site is also being marketed for sale separately, and as such, there may be an opportunity for potential investors to acquire both the freehold and leasehold interests on the site.”
All interest in the site should be directed to James Yates and Alice Gilman at Cushman & Wakefield.
Leaseco sits within the wider Allied London property group, and was set up to manage the Leeds Dock assets.
