ResQ doubles floorspace in Hammonds of Hull

Yorkshire Maintenance Company, a Hull-based commercial fit-out firm, is undertaking the refurbishment.

After House of Fraser left the building in 2019, contact centre operator ResQ moved into first floor offices in 2021, before expanding into second floor space in 2023.

The company will now double its floorspace, moving into offices on the third and fourth floors.

YMC posted on Linkedin: “We are delighted to announce that we have been awarded the contract to complete the work on the 3rd and 4th floors of the ResQ building in Hull.

“Expanding on their existing offices on the 1st and 2nd floors, we look forward to delivering high-quality commercial fittings and refurbishments for this exciting project. A big thank you to ResQ for entrusting us with their continued development.”

Around £315,000 of the project’s cost has been set aside by the Levelling Up Fund.

The building’s developer is Redefine Paragon Square Hull Ltd.

A licence for a bowling alley and games bar was also granted earlier this year for the ground floor, which until early 2023 housed a foodhall. Lane 7, which operates 15 UK venues and one in Berlin, with five more listed as “coming soon” on its website, was behind the application.
