PAG ties up Leeds deal with Ramsdens
The regional law firm has agreed terms for Property Alliance Group’s 33 Park Place to become its flagship office in the city.
Ramsdens has committed to a five-year lease, taking the whole 4,600 sq ft second floor east wing at £23 per sq ft.
The full-service firm said it is expanding its operation in Leeds city centre as the firm continues to drive recruitment. The group will have commercial property, commercial litigation, care, personal injury and clinical negligence teams based at the new office, which replaces the former base at 25 Park Square West.
Ramsdens has 12 Yorkshire offices listed on its website.
WSB Property Consultants and Savills were instructed by PAG at the building at the start of 2023. Both 31 York Place and 33 Park Place were purchased by the developer five years ago, with the latter being refurbished into grade A workspace.
The two buildings share a central courtyard, a 25-space car park, a tenant gym, cycling provision and shower facilities. The UK Government continues to lease 31 York Place.
Duncan Senior, partner at WSB, said: “33 Park Place is perfectly positioned in the city’s financial district and provides affordable, high-quality office space suitable for an ambitious firm like Ramsdens.
“High-calibre occupiers are increasingly seeking offices in Leeds with excellent specification and amenities that attract the best talent, all of which 33 Park Place offers.”
Rob Peill, head of offices at PAG, said: “We recognise the investment and growth opportunities for businesses in Leeds and have built long-standing connections and relationships with agents, occupiers and partners to enable a prosperous future for this well-connected city.”
Two further suites will be launched at the building soon. Other tenants at 33 Park Place include LCF Law, UST Global and Medisoft.
