La Fiesta adds to Merrion Centre F&B

The ‘all you can eat’ Mediterranean restaurant is taking 3,000 sq ft at the retail centre in Leeds, opening 12 September.

Owned by Town Centre Securities, the mixed-use office and retail development in the north of the city has also recently re-welcomed Fuji Hiro back into its F&B offering, as it looks to diversify its offering.

La Fiesta will seat up to 100 guests and will offer diners unlimited tapas options, which is cooked fresh and served two at a time, as well as a central antipasti bar and a churros station.

In June, TCS’s plans to build a 37-storey tower and convert the vacant Wade House office block on the MC estate into 1,100-bed PBSA were unanimously approved.

Speaking at the time, Craig Burrow, group property director at TCS, said: “This development is a vital part of our long-term vision to further diversify the Merrion estate, continuing to evolve our retail, leisure, office and now residential offering to meet the changing needs of the city.”

La Fiesta director, Masud Rana, said: “We’ve been working hard behind the scenes to create a fantastic dining space and vibrant ambiance, and we are hugely excited to reveal all to customers in the coming weeks.”
