Banks launches Hambleton site
Having received the green light for the development in May, the housebuilder has started preparatory work on a 62-home estate in the North Yorkshire village.
This will be Banks Homes’ first North Yorkshire residential development, with the first homes expected to be complete by next summer.
Each home will have a Hive heating system and a Ring doorbell, as well as a private back garden.
New wildlife habitats and areas of public open space will be created around the development, with other sustainable design features including air source heat pumps and electric vehicle charging points.
Aisling Ramshaw, head of sales and marketing at Banks Homes, said: “The formal launch of our first development in North Yorkshire is a landmark moment for us and we’re looking forward to welcoming potential homebuyers to Camblesforth Hall to show them everything that it will offer.
Good homes, large CIL donations and good Section 106 contributions, in touch with modern heat insulation and greener forms of energy generation, improvements to wdlife habitat (hopefully some wetlands too to help with the grounds ability to soak up excess rainfall)
And homes for Yorkshire’s Fanilies or older folks who wanna move or downsize.
This is why devolution works and is a great project from Banks’. The north of Yorkshire is really on the up.
The good news is also that the more developments are created, the more money for local services are unlocked to support the things we also need like schools, transport, and GP’s.
