Albion Square open for business

Developers can now share their outline ideas with Hull City Council for one of the city’s major regeneration schemes, before one is selected later this year.

The council is now welcoming Expressions of Interest, ahead of a formal procurement process and appointment of a lead development partner for the redevelopment of the former BHS building and surrounding brownfield area.

The council is looking for the centrally positioned site to be transformed into high-quality mixed-use residential, commercial, and leisure space.

The scheme will be one of many regeneration projects taking place in the East Yorkshire capital, including ECF’s work on East Bank Urban Village and Planit’s work on the Hull City Centre Vision.

Those wishing to declare an Expression of Interest can do so by accessing YORtender (Ref. 97572), deadline 5pm on 12 May.
