South Yorkshire Teaching Hub relocates to Meadowhall Business Park
The hub, operated by Chorus Trust, will occupy the ground floor of Block 1 at the 72,000 sq ft business park, which is owned by ARBA Group.
The move from its previous base at Silverdale School is expected to complete in time for the new academic year in September.
South Yorkshire Teaching Hub is taking 3,750 sq ft of office space as it expands its operations, with the larger office able to provide dedicated office accommodation, meeting rooms, and event space to support the hub’s work with more than 300 schools across South Yorkshire, delivering teacher recruitment, training and professional development programmes.
The office space is currently being refurbished ahead of occupation, with the expansion also expected to create new jobs, adding to the organisation’s existing 14-strong team.
Meadowhall Business Park was created by ARBA Group through the conversion of five former council buildings in 2016.
The teaching hub joins a tenant roster that includes NG Bailey, Tata Steel UK, Galaxy Insulation and Dry Lining, JNP Group, Link Financial Outsourcing, and Preventx.
Located close to Junction 34 of the M1, the business park sits near Meadowhall Shopping Centre and several major commercial occupiers, including IKEA, South Yorkshire Police headquarters and the Olympic Legacy Park.
