Greencore commits to 40,000 sq ft in Leeds
The FTSE 250-listed convenience foods group has signed a 15-year lease at Broad Gate in a major boon for the city centre office market.
Greencore’s inward investment deal, brokered by Knight Frank on the occupier side with Colliers representing landlord, has a 10-year break. The deal single-handedly tops the 34,336 sq ft let in Leeds city centre in Q1 of 2026, as recorded by the Leeds Office Agents Forum.
Overlooking The Headrow and originally home to Lewis’s, Broad Gate is a 300,000 sq ft flagship mixed-use development, with some of the city’s largest grade A office floorplates. The complex also includes a suite of penthouse offices, together with four prime retail units.

Investment at Broad Gate has included a new reception and roof terrace, positioning the building for increased expectations regarding amenity spaces.
