Yorkshire hat-trick for Breck and Incommunities
The housebuilder is now live at three affordable housing developments in Bradford, and will deliver a combined 107 homes in partnership with the social housing provider.
In April, Breck commenced work on a 53-home development at Rushton Avenue on behalf of Incommunities, its debut site in Yorkshire.
Located on a former Morrisons site on Rushton Avenue, the development will comprise two- to four-bedroom houses as well as maisonettes and apartments, which will all be available via social rent.
Earlier this month, the duo also completed contracts for a 20-home development at Flockton Road and 34-homes at nearby Brompton Avenue, following planning approval from Bradford Council for the Brompton Avenue scheme.
Both schemes are expected to be completed by December 2027 and will feature two-, three- and four-bedroom homes, as well as one-bedroom maisonettes and apartments.
The two sites were purchased from Bradford Council by Breck in 2025 and will feature a combination of properties for social and affordable rent.
Breck is also awaiting planning permission for 120-homes at Dawson’s Corner, Leeds, which goes before the planning committee on 6 August.
The site was formerly a data centre owned by Lloyds Bank, which closed its doors in 2020.
