The Cut & Craft completes £1.5m expansion at Victoria Leeds
The steak restaurant has increased its footprint by 220% within the mixed-use destination owned and operated by Redical.
Located in the Victoria Quarter, Cut & Craft now occupies 12,375 sq ft following the extension – sizing up from 3,875 sq ft – which includes two private dining rooms on the first floor, a new bar area, and a dedicated ground-floor stage for live music and evening entertainment.
The interior designer on the project was Studio Two, while construction was undertaken by PDS.
The refurbishment has increased the venue’s capacity to 370 covers and supports an expanded food and beverage offering, including a wider selection of bar snacks and small plates.
The project represents the first major investment of this scale across The Cut & Craft’s estate and reflects the landlord’s strategy of supporting existing occupiers while strengthening Victoria Leeds’ F&B offer.
The Cut & Craft’s expansion is the latest in a series of tenant and landlord reinvestment into Victoria Leeds, totalling more than £2.5m so far in 2026.
This has been accomplished through gradual transformation through accumulation that continues to make it the best location it can be for a diverse, elevated range of brands.
James Edmondson, asset manager at Redical, commented: “The Cut & Craft wholeheartedly demonstrates the standard and quality we work to cultivate, and this significant reinvestment from the brand into Victoria Leeds demonstrates our continued commitment to supporting and nurturing independent businesses in the city.
“The brand’s significant expansion at the destination and comes as a direct result of its continued success within Victoria Quarter’s mixed-use space.
“It will not only enable them to serve a greater number of guests, but also reflects the level of confidence our hospitality tenants have in us as they seek ways to capitalise on the growing success of the destination.”
Darioush Shahidi, operations director at The Cut & Craft added: “Our reputation is synonymous with not only a premium menu, but also a luxurious atmosphere, and our newly launched Victoria Quarter space will undoubtedly live up to that.
“Our decision to reinvest into the destination comes as a direct result of the staggering success we have experienced thus far, and we know our trajectory will continue to climb ever higher as we’re now able to welcome more guests than ever before.”
