Pitt joins Avison Young

Muse’s former managing director for Yorkshire and the North East has joined the commercial real estate firm as part of the Place Advisory Group.

James Pitt will be based in the Leeds office and brings more than 25 years in property development, urban regeneration, and placemaking across the North East.

Prior to Muse, he was at Evans Property for 12 years, progressing from development director to group director.

Pitt’s appointment underscores Avison Young’s intention to further its development and advisory activity across Yorkshire and the North East, taking advantage of opportunities brought about by devolution.

Stuart Howie, principal and regional managing director, Leeds said: “James brings deep development, strategic delivery and leadership capability that will further boost our ability to drive value for our clients.

“He is well known to the market and our team and demonstrates AY’s continued commitment to regional investment.”
