Mileway secures T1 Sheffield letting

The logistics real estate company has secured a new occupier for the business park, with Go Interiors signing a long-term lease on the 34,000 sq ft unit, taking the scheme to full occupancy.

The national supplier of interior building materials is relocating from a smaller 15,000 sq ft premises in Sheffield to support its continued growth.

Owned by opportunistic funds managed by Blackstone, T1 Sheffield Business Park is located off the Sheffield Parkway (A57), providing direct access to Junction 33 of the M1 and Sheffield city centre.

The purpose-built warehouse includes office space, three loading doors, a secure yard, parking, EV charging points and rooftop solar PV panels.

Go Interiors said the move was driven by the need for additional space and the building’s strategic location, allowing the business to expand its operations while maintaining its presence in Sheffield.

The letting reflects continued demand for modern industrial and logistics space across South Yorkshire, with the final available unit at the business park now occupied.

T1 Sheffield Business Park is one of the first industrial developments to be completed within the South Yorkshire Investment Zone, following its designation in 2023.

Andrew Jones, co-head of real estate at Mileway, said: “We are pleased to support Go Interiors’ continued growth with a purpose-built site in a strategic, well-connected location.

“This lease at T1 Sheffield Business Park underlines our ability to provide the high-quality space our customers need to scale their operations and support their long-term ambitions.”

Nicola Thurley, group operations director at Go Interiors, commented: “This location is an ideal space for us as it is close to all the major road networks, allows us to remain in Sheffield as we grow our business, and the space is purpose-built, meaning minimal disruption for us.”
