Phase one of Gildersome Business Park fully let

Full occupancy has been reached at the Leeds estate following a series of lettings, including a 10,000 sq ft deal with MEWA UK Textile Services.

The textile services company has agreed a 10-year lease on Unit 1, completing the take-up of the first phase of the Morley development.

The milestone follows Yorkshire Housing signing leases on the final two 1,730 sq ft units at Gildersome Nano Park, meaning all space across the scheme is now occupied.

Developed by Frank Marshall Estates in partnership with The Nano Park Company, the first phase comprises the standalone 10,000 sq ft Unit 1 and eight hybrid office and workshop units at Gildersome Nano Park, providing almost 24,000 sq ft of employment space.

The development, close to Junction 27 of the M62, has attracted a mix of occupiers including Glen Dimplex, DB Automotive, MediMD, Honey Hut, Telstar, Yorkshire Housing and MEWA UK Textile Services.

CBRE and Carter Towler acted jointly for Frank Marshall Estates on the lettings.

Dani Raunjak, associate director at CBRE said; “The success of Gildersome Business Park demonstrates the strength of demand for high-quality industrial and business space in strategic locations along the M62 corridor.

“Achieving full occupancy across Phase 1 is a significant milestone and reflects the appeal of both the smaller Nano Park units and the larger standalone accommodation.  These modern starter and grow-on units play an important role in the regional supply chain.

“With Phase 2 already consented, comprising 45,000 sq ft of space serving the small and mix box markets, we’re excited to see the next chapter of the scheme come forward with construction commencing in 2027.”
