And finally… well on track

Once you’ve had your fill of panel sessions, one doesn’t generally have to look far afield from the UKREiiF site for some action, and Vastint UK’s Aire Park Grand Prix at The Tetley did not disappoint.

The formula (one) was fiendishly simple: a Scalextric track, a bit of competition for people in an industry that frankly loves that kind of thing, oh and some mouthwatering ales from Kirkstall Brewery, now in situ at the iconic Leeds building.

Punters competed on both Tuesday and Wednesday to be top dog in the fastest lap competition and win prizes which, from what we can gather, were headed by a Scalextric set. Makes sense.
