Who fancies gingering up their home-working options? Beal Homes has teamed up with fellow East Yorkshire firm Solus to offer homebuyers luxury outdoor rooms as an add-on to its bespoke home design service.

Both firms are based in Hessle, west of Hull: Beal’s head office is at Bridgehead business park, close to the Humber Bridge, with Solus just over a mile away.

Under Beal’s ‘Design Lounge’ service, every buyer has the opportunity to completely customise their new home, working with the housebuilder’s designers to make it a perfect fit for their lifestyle and tastes.

Solus, for its part, “specialises in constructing beautiful and functional buildings made from high-quality materials and offering the highest standards of energy efficiency and sustainability”.

The partnership means Beal can now offer buyers a high-quality additional space in the garden as part of the housebuilder’s bespoke design service – let’s face it, now we’re all working from home a bit more than pre-2020, doesn’t a fancy outdoor room feel more tempting than the makeshift attic office or kitchen table?

Beal’s sales operations manager Jamie Barrington said: “Since the pandemic, there’s been a big shift towards remote and home working. Because of that, our buyers often ask how they can design their home to include an outdoor office or room for other uses.

“The Solus garden room provides a luxurious, high-quality space, which is an attractive addition to any garden. It is often used as a home office, but it could be a gym, yoga studio, games room, outdoor bar, or even a recording studio!”
