BTG Eddisons expands asset management offer
The Leeds-headquartered real estate consultancy has acquired Milton Keynes-based commercial property firm Hornbeam.
The deal adds specialist institutional asset management expertise to BTG Eddisons’ national property advisory platform, which has an established presence in Yorkshire and supports clients across the region.
Hornbeam, founded by directors Sophie Hart and Stuart Lucas, employs 13 people and acts for institutional and fund clients across the UK.
Its expertise covers contracted property management, including rent and service charge collection, financial reporting, tenant liaison, building maintenance and compliance.
The business also provides strategic asset management advice, including lease renewals, rent reviews and identifying opportunities to enhance property values.
Hornbeam will continue to provide services to its existing clients following the acquisition, while BTG Eddisons said the deal would also create opportunities to introduce its wider property and advisory services to Hornbeam’s client base.
The acquisition forms part of BTG Eddisons’ strategy to combine specialist expertise with a national platform, expanding the range of financial and real estate advisory services available to clients.
