Wizu claims seventh Leeds location

The flexible workspace provider has added 14,000 sq ft at One Embankment to its home city roster.

Wizu’s expansion into the office building, close to Granary Wharf and the south entrance of Leeds station, is the fruit of a deal that took just three weeks to conclude, allowing Wizu to retain the 19 businesses already using flex space at the building.

The operator said that the space is already equipped to a high standard, and will undergo further enhancements, including upgrading of meeting rooms, breakout areas, business lounge and outdoor courtyard event space, which is capable of hosting up to 100 people.

One Embankment also offers secure underground parking.

Wizu Workspace Group was founded in 2016 by Almas and John Guggenheim in Leeds. The business now operates more than 300,000 sq ft of workspace, supporting hundreds of businesses and employing a team of 50+.

Among the spaces it runs is a 20,000 sq ft offer at Newcastle’s Portland House, signed for in late 2023.

In April, the 10,000 sq ft 55 St Paul’s Street became the group’s sixth Leeds space.
