McLaren Construction secures spot on £1.5bn YORBuild procurement scheme
The Yorkshire and North East division has been appointed to the Major Works 2 Framework, covering projects valued at more than £30m.
The public sector procurement framework covers the Yorkshire and Humber region, the North East, Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and parts of Leicestershire, with a variety of projects available to tender over a four-year term and an option to extend for a further two years.
The framework, managed by East Riding of Yorkshire Council and Leeds City Council, provides a compliant, transparent and efficient route to procure major building works.
McLaren’s Yorkshire & North East division, led by managing director Andrew Beaumont, is an established team based in Leeds city centre.
This appointment reinforces McLaren’s long-term investment in the region and supports sustainable growth – McLaren’s diversification into the public sector added £250m to its turnover in the last financial year.
Beaumont said “Securing a place on the YORbuild Framework is fantastic news for the Yorkshire & North East region and delivers on the strategic objectives we set ourselves in 2025.
