Place announces MIPIM 2026 session themes
‘Investible North’ and ‘Great Minds’ will showcase the best the region has to offer at the global property expo in Cannes next March.
Place North will be delivering a variety of specialist sessions under those theme umbrellas, which will provide an outlet for interested local authorities and property consultants to shine a light on a particular town, project, or business practice.
Their audience will be drawn from the 20,000 global property professionals who attend MIPIM each year. The 2026 edition of the conference, held 9-12 March, will feature a larger UK presence than ever before thanks to Place’s commitment to ensuring the North is out in full force.
The Investible North and Great Minds series will be held at the North of England Suite at MIPIM, a prominent indoor and outdoor space overlooking the Croisette. Designed with flexibility in mind, the suite is also available for launch events, private events, or cocktail hours.
All of the Investible North and Great Minds sessions are available for sponsorship. They will be curated by Place North’s expert team of journalists, ensuring that each event will be unmissable.
Investible North will spotlight the fantastic investment and development opportunities for particular boroughs, cities, or projects across the North of England. Great Minds will provide truly unique sessions that dig into how a particular team of collaborators is approaching issues differently. The North of England is known for its ingenuity, and we intend to celebrate that. If you are an innovator, this is your chance to shine. These sessions are £5,000.
Sponsorship includes an expert chair from our roster of senior journalists and support from our experienced event team when it comes to to on-the-day logistics. Session sponsorship goes beyond just the event itself. We will promote your session ahead of MIPIM on our Place North West, Place Yorkshire, and Place North East websites, which boast more than 300,000 monthly readers.
