Caddick Construction appoints head of frameworks
Steve Foster will look to grow the company’s reach in the public sector across Yorkshire, the North West, the North East, and the Midlands in the newly created role.
By targeting regional and national procurement frameworks, the construction firm is looking to even out its public and private sector portfolios.
The Yorkshire native has worked in the construction industry for around 13 years, following a 23-year stint in the British Army.
Over the years he has held a number of project management, delivery and framework lead positions, specialising in education projects across secondary, further, and higher education, most recently as education sector lead for Morris & Spottiswood.
Foster has also worked at Bowmer + Kirkland, ISG, Engie UK, Galliford Try, Henry Boot Construction, and the GB Group.
On the public sector side, he spent almost two years as project manager for the Department for Education, overseeing projects under the School Rebuilding Programme.
Based in Caddick Construction’s Wakefield headquarters, Steve will focus on building Caddick’s portfolio in education as well as healthcare, leisure, and housing.
Caddick is also present on NEPO Construction Works Framework, which covers a range of public sector works for contracting authorities in the North East, and Great Places Housing Group’s Innovation Chain North (ICN) Framework.
