Estabulo comes to the Merrion Centre
The Brazilian dining experience is moving into an 80-seat unit at Town Centre Securities’ shopping and eating destination in Leeds.
Located next to the Ibis Arena hotel and close to the First Direct Arena, the 2,000 sq ft unit is opening in October.
The Brazilian experience has waiters bring meats to the table until diners change their green ‘go’ cards to red.
Owned by Town Centre Securities, the mixed-use office and retail development in the north of the city has also recently re-welcomed Fuji Hiro back into its F&B offering, alongside La Fiesta, as it looks to diversify its offering.
In June, TCS’s plans to build a 37-storey tower and convert the vacant Wade House office block on the MC estate into 1,100-bed PBSA were unanimously approved.
Speaking at the time, Craig Burrow, group property director at TCS, said: “This development is a vital part of our long-term vision to further diversify the Merrion estate, continuing to evolve our retail, leisure, office and now residential offering to meet the changing needs of the city.”
Charles Newman, associate director, estates for Town Centre Securities, said: “[Estabulo’s] rodizio-style dining adds something truly unique to our growing line-up of international restaurants.
“With the venue directly connected to our ibis Styles Leeds City Centre Arena hotel, it will provide a fantastic option for hotel guests and arena visitors alike.
“With thousands of office workers and students nearby, we are confident this new venue will become a key addition to the Arena Quarter.”

The one in The Light, Leeds, is genuinely one of the best places I’ve ever eaten. Bora!
