Hobson & Porter completes £10m Hull lido
Albert Avenue Pools and Fitness is officially open for business, with the project also including a new gym and fitness studio, building remodelling and replacement of all M&E systems.
The project at Albert Avenue saw Yorkshire and Lincolnshire firm H&P lead on the new-build element, along with remodelling, refurbishing and redecorating the existing building, replacing M&E kit and installing new heating and ventilation systems.
Procured through the council’s Hull Esteem infrastructure delivery platform, the new outdoor heated lido replaces the original facility, which closed more than 30 years ago.

“Not only does it see the outdoor lido reopen after many years, but the new gym and fitness studio creates more space for people to use and stay active.”
