- GUY BUTLER, GLENBROOK | Guy started his career at London property company Grosvenor, where he delivered Liverpool ONE, and left to form Glenbrook in 2015 after 16 years there. Glenbrook is a property investor and developer, with 1,800 homes currently being delivered over 1,000 of these in Leeds, 40 acres of industrial development and has £100m of assets invested across the UK, from Flat Iron in Leeds to a car dealership in Newport.
- CLARE ELLIOTT, WAKEFIELD COUNCIL | With over 18 years of Local Government experience, Clare brings learned skills and expertise into her role as service director for economic growth and skills at Wakefield Council. Clare has held this position since 2018. Clare is actively leading the organisation’s transformational economic growth and regeneration projects including the effective delivery of the strategic housing and regeneration capital programme with a value of almost £100m.
- ADAM BRANNEN, LEEDS CITY COUNCIL | m Brannen | Adam leads major spatial programmes and place partnerships in Leeds, overseeing ambitious projects like the Leeds Transformational Regeneration Programme and extensive housing initiatives. With over 25 years of experience as a chartered town planner, he excels in driving high-quality, complex place transformations. His pragmatic and reflective leadership style has been instrumental in securing funding and investment, fostering community collaboration, and partnering with the development industry to bring visionary regeneration initiatives to life
- LIZ HUNTER, WEST YORKSHIRE COMBINED AUTHORITY | Liz is director of policing, environment and place at the West Yorkshire Combined Authority. The CA has a vision for a prosperous, well-connected, safe, inclusive West Yorkshire that is a hotbed of creativity and sustainability. Liz is responsible for supporting the delivery of this vision, particularly across policing and crime, violence reduction, place and environment and regeneration. Liz previously worked at Leeds City Council after 10 years in the civil service in London working at the Department for Transport, HM Treasury and HS2.
- SIMON DEW, MUSE | Simon has over 25 years’ experience in property acquisition and development and joined the Muse team in 2010. He is also responsible for several projects in Muse’s portfolio, including Northshore, a £300m mixed-use regeneration scheme in the Tees Valley, One City Park in Bradford, an 81,000 sq ft office building in the heart of the city centre, and Bradford City Village. City Village is being delivered by The English Cities Fund, Muse’s partnership with Homes England and Legal & General and as ECF’s lead in the city
- GAVIN SORBY, BUTTRESS | Gavin has over 35 years' post-qualification experience as an architect and has been with Buttress for most of that time, having seen the business grow 10 times in size since he first joined. Operating as Managing Director since 2010, he's been instrumental in relocating the business to its current Ancoats studio, taking in another practice, re-branding, opening a Leeds studio and completely overhauling the company's IT systems and processes. He is proud to see Buttress grow from 19 staff to 80 in that time, and for the company to be currently ranked 55 in the AJ 100.
- KERRIE BUCKLEY, SIMPSONHAUGH | Kerrie is an Architect with over 17 years of post-qualification experience and currently leads the South Village project – a major mixed-use regeneration scheme in Leeds’ South Bank for the Caddick Group. Since joining SimpsonHaugh in 2005, she has played a central role in the successful delivery of large-scale developments and is recognised for building strong, lasting relationships with clients and project teams. Alongside her project leadership, Kerrie has also been instrumental in shaping the practice’s Quality Management system.
