Glenbrook completes 500-home Whitehall Riverside BTR in Leeds
Funded by L&G and built by Bowmer + Kirkland, Tura is one of the first new-build residential developments in the UK to receive Gateway 3 approval.
Designed by Sheppard Robson, the development is made up of two towers measuring 19- and 16-storeys and resident amenities include lounges, roof terraces, communal workspace, and a gym.
The housing mix comprises one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments, 25 of which are affordable. Landscaping includes upgraded pedestrian and cycle routes along the River Aire, as well as areas of open green space and improved connectivity with the waterfront.
Glenbrook and L&G topped out on the tallest building in October 2024, with Tura forming part of a wider £280m Whiteall Riverside project being delivered by Town Centre Securities.
This wider plan was designed by Enjoy Design and includes proposals for Z, a smart-enabled and energy efficient office building of 111,000 sq ft, and a multi-storey car park and travel hub for CitiPark. This will deliver one of the largest EV charging sites in the north of the UK.
