TCS looks to add to Leeds’ grade A office supply

Town Centre Securities will build the 11-storey, 111,000 sq ft development designed by Enjoy Design with landscaping by Re:Form at Whitehall Riverside, on the banks of the River Aire.

Named Z, BNP Paribas and Sanderson Weatherall have been appointed as letting agents on the scheme, which is subject to a pre-let commitment that TCS is actively progressing.

The developer is aiming to have this secured by the end of the year.

The building will have technologies to monitor air quality, occupancy, and energy usage in real time, enabling occupiers to make data-driven decisions.

There will be a variety of workspace formats and flexible floorplates, as well as communal lounge areas, multipurpose spaces, a rooftop terrace, and meeting and event rooms.

The ground floor will have a riverside terrace, on-site café, and social spaces.

TCS has designed the building within a public realm that will connect directly to the River Aire via landscaped walkways, rain gardens, and planting, and as part of the wider Whitehall Riverside masterplan which incorporates a new CitiPark multi-storey car park with 478 EV spaces.

Craig Burrow, group property director at TCS said “As workspace continues to evolve, Z has been designed to be more than just a building.

“Set within an unrivalled riverside location, it provides best-in-class, smart, energy-efficient office spaces, with the highest level of amenity.”
