Gelderd Park’s second phase nears completion
The last space has been made available at VCEP’s Leeds industrial development, where phase two adds up to 14,000 sq ft of trade and retail accommodation across five units.
Gelderd Park is located with frontage on to the A62 and is adjacent to the A58, which both offer easy access to Leeds city centre and the nearby motorway connections. The site was formerly owned by UK-based wholesaler Palmer & Harvey.
Walker Singleton and Avison Young are joint agents on the scheme, where the 84,000 sq ft six-unit phase one is now fully occupied. Farrar Bamforth designed the scheme.
Occupiers at Gelderd Park include commercial vehicle safety and van conversions specialist SM UK, which signed a 20-year lease on 38,650 sq ft last year.
Nearby occupiers to the scheme, which are predominantly trade counter, car showroom and distribution businesses, include Vantage Toyota, KwikFit, Bentley and Clipper Logistics.
The remaining 1,830 sq ft unit is available on a leasehold basis. The unit benefits from a full-height electric ground level sectional up and over loading door, a full-height glazed pedestrian entrance or trade counter, as well as office accommodation on the first floor.
