Women in Property appoints Yorkshire and North East chair
In timely news ahead of International Women’s Day, Leeds-based Zoë Murphy, associate solicitor at Knights, will take on the role for the next year.
In her day job, Murphy advises business and individual clients on the legal aspects of commercial property including acquisitions, disposals, lettings and all other forms of commercial property.
Zoë has been a member of WiP and has been sitting on the WiP YNE branch committee for five years.
As decided by the national chair, Emma Richman, the group’s theme this year is ‘people and community first’, which reflects its increasing focus on social mobility and tackling barriers to entry in the property industry.
Women in Property aims to create opportunities, expand knowledge and inspires change for women working in the property and construction industry.
Murphy said of her appointment: “I feel privileged to have been part of this supportive and inspiring network from an early stage in my
career.”
