Victoria Leeds diversifies into healthcare
Randox Health will open a private diagnostics clinic in the shopping centre, offering full body health checks, specialised testing, and corporate wellness programmes.
Taking a 700 sq ft unit in Victoria Quarter, it will be Randox Health’s first clinic in Yorkshire and reflects a growing trend towards healthcare on the high street.
A range of blood tests will be on offer, as a means of preventative healthcare.
Owned by Redical, Victoria Leeds has positioned itself as the high-end shopping option for the city, and sits next to the planned £1bn mixed-use Eastgate development being brought forward by Torsion and Khalbros.
LM and Central Retail represent Redical.
Rachel Bradburn, head of leasing at Redical, said: “Time and time again, leading brands choose Victoria Leeds as the location for their milestone stores, and Randox Health is the latest to follow suit.
“Randox Health launching its first Yorkshire clinic within Victoria Quarter not only attests to our growing momentum but also further diversifies the destination, adding a key point of difference that continues to set Victoria Leeds apart from the rest.”
David Ferguson, chief operations officer at Randox Health, said: “With over 40 clinics across the country, it was key that we make our name in Yorkshire, and by securing space at Victoria Leeds we know we will do exactly that.
“With a reputation underscored by a premium tenant mix and affluent customer base, we are confident this is the right fit for us and we look forward to delivering our services to the people of Leeds.”
