REGISTER NOW | HBD x LandAid Padel Tournament

Join HBD and LandAid for a chance to put your padel skills to the test in the name of reducing youth homelessness.

The first HBD x LandAid padel tournament is due to be held from 10.30am to 3pm on Thursday 5 September at Surge Padel in Leeds.

All are welcome – whether novices or veterans. Entry costs £200 per team of two people; food and drink are included.

Tom Wheldon, director and head of region and operations board at HBD, said: “As a board member for LandAid Yorkshire we wanted to add another event to our annual calendar that encouraged teamwork and being active. The HBD x LandAid Padel tournament is the perfect combination of this, and we have been blown away by the level of interest and support for the event. We are on track to raise over £5,000 to help end youth homelessness and find out who the biggest (padel) hitters are in the Yorkshire market.”

Katie Stephenson, senior national partnerships manager at LandAid, added: “We are continually grateful for the support which our Yorkshire Regional Board gives LandAid each year, and especially to HBD for hosting this exciting new fundraising event.

“All funds raised at the Padel Tournament will help support charities such as Latch (Leeds Action To Create Homes), which is currently working on the purchase, renovation and retrofit of supported accommodation for young people at risk of homelessness in Leeds.”

Places are limited. Please contact [email protected] to register.

Place Yorkshire is pleased to be media partner for the HBD x LandAid Padel Tournament.
