Pickard completes Spool House homes in Far Headingley

Part of the £40m Spinning Acres redevelopment of former Leeds University site Tetley Hall, the scheme was designed by Halliday Clark and delivered by contractor Dobsons.

The Spool House features 12 one- and two-bedroom apartments within the Spinning Acres development.

This is the fourth phase of Pickard Properties’ six-acre private rental development, a mix of new-build and refurbished historic buildings within the Far Headingley conservation area. The first three phases are sold out.

The all-electric building has roof-installed solar panels, while the apartments are fitted with radiators containing a natural stone core for more efficient heat storage.

Pickard Properties is now embarking on the next two phases of Spinning Acres, the stone-built Moor Grange and Moorfield Lodge, which will provide additional new homes centred around a village green.
