Inspectas marks 10 years with move and additions

The property compliance specialist has brought in four new senior faces as it moves into a 5,000 sq ft base in Drighlington.

Fiona Lindsay has been promoted to operations director as the company looks to ramp up for further growth.

Incoming are Neil Triggs as major projects, fire and compliance COO; fire compliance services divisional lead Michael Shone; health & safety divisional lead Naveed Mohammed and senior director in land remediation Andrew Ford.

The firm has doubled its office space footprint after a decade of working in the public and private sectors specialising in asbestos surveys and removal, fire safety, health and safety compliance and land remediation.

Triggs said: “Legal compliance around fire safety is becoming increasingly complex particularly following the Grenfell tragedy.

“My role, supported by our new fire compliance divisional lead Michael Shone, is to develop our fire safety division and lead our team of fire safety consultants and surveyors to demystify the property compliance process for all businesses and take the worry out of navigating the regulations.”

Naveed Mohammed has 23 years of experience in construction consultancy and working in the fields of CDM regulations and asbestos, while Ford specialises in the remediation of invasive weeds alongside land clearance and preparation.

Inspectas was formed in 2013 by asbestos management professionals Craig Candlish and Matthew Fahy and now has a portfolio of more than 150 clients in the education, healthcare, retail, construction and industrial sectors.

Director Craig Candlish added: “After a decade specialising in raising asbestos compliane and management standards across the UK, our move into our Drighlington premises and the appointment of Neil, Michael, Naveed and Andrew, alongside Fiona’s promotion, reflects our commitment to developing our services even further with an additional focus on fire safety, health and safety and land remediation across multiple sectors.

“In this, our 10th anniversary year, we are delighted to continue our strategy of bringing the very best property and land compliance practitioners into the Inspectas family and increasing our capacity to deliver trusted expertise in areas of significant concern for businesses.”
