GV&Co doubles up in Leeds
On the back of reaching its 20th year, the property consultancy has relocated and expanded within its long-term base of Carlton Tower on St Paul’s Street.
GV&Co, which has been based at the building for 14 years, has relocated into a 2,800 sq ft office suite on the fourth floor of Carlton Tower, which is double the size of its previous office.
The company, which celebrated 20 years in business at the end of last year, currently employs a 17-strong team and has invested in fit-out to create an open-plan layout, breakout areas, four meeting rooms and large boardroom.
Features include a large and contemporary kitchen and dining area, a live plant wall and custom wall art.
Gavin Ritchie, a director at GV&Co, said: “In the last couple of years we have recruited across all our divisions, as well as launching a specialist lease advisory and asset management service.
“We had outgrown our previous office, so when the opportunity arose to expand in Carlton Tower, which has been a superb base for us for almost 14 years, in the heart of Leeds city centre’s property and professional services district, it made perfect sense.”
Services within the firm include industrial agency, building surveying and project management, investment, and lease advisory and asset management.
Ritchie continued: “In the past two decades we have evolved hugely from solely being an industrial agent, even though it will always be a big part of what we do and a particular area of expertise.
“Our investment team has developed a formidable reputation for advising both institutional and private investors, as well as everyone in between, on the sale and acquisition of all types of commercial property throughout Yorkshire and beyond.
“Our building surveying and project management division is busier than ever, with their national coverage working for institutions and private investors. The team of seven is one of the biggest in the region and we are currently delivering an extensive range of projects across all sectors.
“Plus, our lease advisory and asset management division, which launched two years ago, is also doing very well, advising both landlords and tenants on rent reviews, lease renewals and lease restructuring opportunities. The division’s hugely experienced team have quickly become renowned for producing impressive and tangible results for clients, on all property types.”
