- MARCUS DIXON, JLL | With 20 years of research experience, Marcus has extensive knowledge of UK real estate. Marcus has worked in an advisory capacity on multiple large scale mixed-use developments across the UK and leads the team responsible for monitoring house prices, rents, transactions, and new development volumes at JLL.
- RACHAEL GORDON, MASLOW CAPITAL | Maslow Capital is a leading provider of real estate development finance in the UK. Rachael manages the credit and due diligence process for new development deals, working closely with the origination team in the completion of new transactions and ongoing portfolio management where she has closed and managed over £600m of facilities to date.
- EDWARD TARRATT, LUC | Since joining LUC in 2007, Edward has worked at over ten separate universities. Notable projects include the £300m Waterside Campus development in Northampton and the Faculty of Arts Building at the University of Warwick which was shortlisted for the 2023 Stirling Prize.
- GEORGE TYSON, DOWNING | Downing is a leading provider of purpose-built student accommodation across the UK. George joined Downing in 2007 and has helped build development management capacity and expertise, as well as the integration of the development, operational and property management functions of the business.
- GEORGINA ROSE, JLL | Committed to helping her clients unlock value of underutilised and undeveloped sites, Georgina advises a number of Higher and Further Education providers on their Estates Strategy with services including market demand assessments to identify highest and best use of underutilised or surplus assets; delivery strategies; financial appraisals; developer procurement; and acquisition and disposal strategies.
- PETER GREENALL, BLACKPOOL & FYLDE COLLEGE | Blackpool and The Fylde College is home to the Multiversity project which will bring transformational higher education learning opportunities to the people of Blackpool and the Fylde Coast. Peter has 20 years’ experience in education, having previously worked at Reaseheath College as assistant principal and dean of higher education between 2018 and 2022.
- DR SIMON MERRYWEST, UNIVERSITY OF MANCHESTER | Simon leads the Directorate and has overall responsibility for its staff and operations. He works in partnership with the vice-president for teaching, learning and students and other senior colleagues and students in the development and delivery of strategies to deliver an outstanding experience for all students.
- ANDREW MCDOWELL, ARUP | Andrew leads the MEP Building Services team in Arup’s North West and Yorkshire offices and coordinates the firm’s work in the Education sector in this region. He is active in promoting the design and development of sustainable buildings and has significant experience in developing carbon reduction strategies for education buildings and estates.
- GEMMA LE MARQUER, EMPIRIC STUDENT PROPERTY | Gemma is a senior customer-led marketing professional with over 20 years experience working across consumer brands, leading a team that provides premium accommodation and service to students at top UK Universities. Gemma will focus on on how the requirements of student accommodation are changing.
- NATALIA MAXIMOVA | Natalia has led higher education projects across the UK for over a decade. Her broad experience encompasses academic and research facilities, campus masterplanning, refurbishment and change of use and student accommodation. Her award-winning projects include Birley Fields Campus at ManMet, Faculty of Health, Education and Life Sciences at Birmingham City University and Anne Lister and David Kato residential colleges at the University of York.
