Four senior appointments at Gleeson

The Sheffield-headquartered homebuilder has added to its top brass as it looks to enhance operational efficiency across Yorkshire.

Scott Robinson has been hired from Taylor Wimpey as major projects director, northern division, and will work across East Yorkshire and Cumbria to deliver complex, large -scale projects.

He will lead on all third-party contractual requirements, managing developments from initial land negotiations through to major infrastructure handover.

He has more than 20 years’ experience in the industry and has also worked for Barratt Homes and Keelman Homes.

Jim Brooks joins the team as regional managing director for South and West Yorkshire, where he will look to drive growth and improve operations, focusing on new homes in the region.

Mark Landsdowne joins from Bovis Homes, where he was regional finance director. He will be Gleeson’s divisional finance director – central, a leadership position that will work closely with regional teams to bridge local financial needs with overarching business objectives, supporting the next phase of growth and development.

He has also worked in senior finance roles at Bloor Homes and David Wilson Homes.

Finally, Oli Bugden has been promoted to interim finance director after almost five years at the company.

The appointments are all part of the company’s Project Transform initiative, which was launched last year and aims to improve operational efficiency and divisional leadership to improve compliance, shorten reporting lines, and strengthen local accountability, underpinned by enhanced data insights.
