The shopping centre is continuing to strengthen its retail and leisure offering with the arrival of two new tenants, as experiential operator Lane7 confirms its opening date and The Fragrance Shop prepares to launch a flagship store.

Lane7, the UK’s largest independent boutique bowling brand, will open its 23,000 sq ft venue on Albion Street on Tuesday 2 June, introducing a multi-activity entertainment space featuring 12 bowling lanes alongside darts, pool, beer pong, mini golf and retro arcade games.

The operator said the Leeds launch is part of its wider expansion across the UK, with new venues also opening in Edinburgh and Glasgow.

Gavin Hughes, managing director at Lane7, said the brand has already received strong interest ahead of opening: “There’s been so much excitement about our arrival since we announced we were coming to Trinity Leeds – it feels like the city has already embraced us.

“We can’t wait for everyone to see what we’ve been working on behind the scenes to bring ‘all your best nights in one’ to Leeds.”

Steven Foster, centre director at Trinity Leeds, which is owned and managed by Landsec, said: “Lane7 is an ideal addition to Trinity Leeds, offering a fun new concept for our guests to experience.

“Its arrival follows the latest new openings from schuh, Jerk Junction, and the LEGO store. With Footasylum and Freight Island still to come, our already impressive line-up is going from strength to strength.”

The centre has also confirmed a £2.5m investment into upgraded toilet facilities, as well as plans for a 1,000-capacity fan zone at Trinity Kitchen ahead of the upcoming World Cup.

Alongside the leisure expansion, The Fragrance Shop is also set to open a flagship store at Trinity Leeds in the former LEGO unit.

The UK’s largest independent fragrance retailer will offer a wide range of perfumes, alongside gift sets and customer advice.

Kam Birk, director of property at The Fragrance Shop, said: “The opening of our new Trinity Leeds store marks another milestone in The Fragrance Shop’s expansion.

“Trinity Leeds is a fantastic location with strong footfall and a great retail mix, making it an ideal home for our brand.”

Foster said the new store would enhance the overall customer offer within the centre: “These openings follow a series of new lettings and upsizes, further strengthening Trinity Leeds’ retail line-up and bringing even more choice to visitors looking for beauty, lifestyle, and gifting brands under one roof.”
