Building Careers expands into Yorkshire

The construction and social housing recruitment company has opened a base at Thorpe Park, Leeds, adding Beth Marshall and Djamel Beni Moussa to spearhead the new venture.

Building Careers said the move marks a significant milestone in the company’s growth strategy, as it looks to tie in with major projects across the patch.

Owner and chief executive Mark Harris now operates between Yorkshire and the North West as the business seeks to provide talent for the industry.

He said: “We are excited to establish a presence in Thorpe Park, Leeds, as we embark on this new phase of growth.

“Expanding into Yorkshire aligns perfectly with our long-term vision and commitment to serving clients and candidates across the UK.”

Building Careers has been trading for close to 20 years in the North West and is now ready for a new chapter, Harris said:

“We have a golden opportunity to break into a market that I know a lot about and one where my new look team has worked for a number of years. The timing, especially going into UKREIIFF in Leeds where we will be in attendance to speak with our new client base, is perfect for us and our recruiting experts are already active.”

The firm has welcomed two key members to its team. Djamel BeniMoussa joins as business manager, bringing with him a wealth of experience and expertise in the construction recruitment sector.

Beth Marshall has also joined the team as managing consultant, bringing extensive knowledge of the Yorkshire construction market.

She said: “I am confident that our presence in Yorkshire will enable us to deliver exceptional service to both clients and candidates.”
