Bradford to consider £47m Homes by Honey site
The Sheffield-based developer’s application for 173 houses on land off Abb Scott Lane in Low Moor will come before the council this week, with approval likely.
Homes by Honey submitted documents for the development last November and had been hoping to start on site this summer.
Plans have changed slightly between then and now, and the version going before council has nine less homes than originally stated and a total of 85 affordable homes.
The site is one mile from Low Moor train station and three miles from Bradford city centre.
Proposals include a mix of two-, three-, and four-bed homes, in 15 of Honey’s house designs.
Currently the plot consists of fields with agricultural buildings, and although the site itself is not Green Belt, it does border Green Belt land directly to the south.
