Beal Homes swoops for Clarkson

Currently sales and marketing director for Taylor Wimpey Yorkshire, Ross Clarkson will join the East Riding housebuilder to replace the retiring Sue Waudby.

Clarkson will join Beal with the same title, having been sales and marketing director for Taylor Wimpey Yorkshire for five years, with overall responsibility for the sales and marketing function.

Previously Clarkson was Yorkshire sales director for Bellway Homes, while he also has strong experience with independent housebuilders, having been sales manager for Yorkshire-based Ben Bailey Homes

He began his career as a sales graduate with Miller Homes Yorkshire.

Clarkson is due to join Beal this summer and will succeed the current sales and marketing director, Sue Waudby, who is retiring from a role she has held since 2003.

Family-run Beal operates across Hull, East Yorkshire and Lincolnshire and runs a ‘design lounge’ service for home customisation

Projects it is involved in include a 115-home development in North Ferriby, and an 800-home project in Goole called Greenways, Beal’s largest scheme to date.
