And finally… flipping out in Doncaster

Any town or city that wants to be taken seriously on the world stage has to have some kind of animal sculpture trail at some point, and it’s great to see Doncaster bringing a festive touch to this particular field.

As the council reports, “If you’re looking for a free, easy way to spend quality time with your family and friends whilst exploring the city centre, look no further!

“Our newly installed Penguin Trail promises a fantastic experience for everyone, from the youngest explorers to the young at heart!”

That’s exactly the spirit. You can head to the Visit Doncaster website for the full SP, and to see all the penguin names and designs – these include Mr Easy Freezy, Pullover Penguin and *ahem* It’s Penguinning to Look a Lot Like Christmas.

Because everyone likes to know these things now, Donny has helpfully hinted that the trail should take half an houtr, and equate to around 3,000 steps. So you can make a start on working off those mince pies/tubs of Celebrations before you’ve even really started.
