Points Cross tops out
United Living New Homes has reached the milestone on block C of its affordable resi scheme in Leeds.
In collaboration with the Guinness Partnership, the developer will deliver 928 homes at Points Cross, of which 174 apartments and nine town houses will be in block C.
All of the homes will be shared ownership.
The scheme forms part of a regeneration programme in the South Bank area of Leeds, which will provide more than 8,000 homes in total.
Marcus Westmorland, operations director, United Living New Homes, said: “The topping out event presented an opportunity to celebrate the truly collaborative approach all parties have taken in helping to bring this landmark development to fruition.
“We look forward to continuing to work together with our partner, The Guinness Partnership, to bring this project to completion.”
Angela Garrard, development director, North, The Guinness Partnership, commented: “These shared ownership homes mark an important point in the development here at Points Cross, bringing affordable homes to residents in the heart of Leeds South Bank.
“This demonstrates our commitment to supporting Leeds City Council’s regeneration ambitions for the area and would not have been possible without grant funding from Homes England and West Yorkshire Combined Authority.”
