Lloyds to deliver 300 Yorkshire homes
The deal marks the latest phase in the ongoing collaboration between Lloyds Living and Keepmoat and will bring forward private BTR homes in Hungerhill, Firbeck, South Elmsall, and Upton.
Lloyds Living has expanded its UK BTR portfolio to more than 7,600 homes following the new agreement with partner Keepmoat for the delivery of 294 family houses across the four sites.
The programme represents a significant scale-up of Lloyds Living’s presence in the region and reinforces the partners’ focus on delivering sustainable, family-oriented developments aligned with local housing requirements.
The portfolio comprises a mix of two-, three- and four-bedroom properties, with more than 200 units to be built to an all-electric specification.
The homes will achieve NextGeneration Bronze certification, reflecting the scheme’s emphasis on improved energy performance and alignment with emerging zero-carbon standards.
Matt Burgess, chief executive of Lloyds Living, said: “This new deal represents two fundamental parts of what we do: working with great partners, like Keepmoat, and delivering high quality single-family homes to the rental market in the places they are needed.
“These new homes offer high specification accommodation that meets some of the highest modern building standards; they don’t just increase the availability of rental homes, they improve the quality of it, and the quality of life for our customers.”
Ian Hoad, chief executive at Keepmoat added: “We’re delighted to be partnering with Lloyds Living on this exciting portfolio, which reflects our shared commitment to creating sustainable, future-proofed communities.
“At Keepmoat, collaboration with partners is central to our delivery of high-quality, energy-efficient homes.
“Through this partnership, and by achieving NextGeneration Bronze accreditation across all four developments, we’re continuing to drive innovation in sustainable construction and help shape thriving, inclusive neighbourhoods that stand the test of time.”
