Occupational Valuation – Senior Surveyor

Background 

Our client’s niche advisory team is a true market leading investment, advisory and valuation business, working across all operational sectors, including healthcare, senior housing, hotels, public houses, leisure and self-storage.

The Opportunity

Due to a growing pipeline and expansion of its’ business, we are sourcing an Senior Surveyor or Associate Director to help drive growth of this particular Valuation & Advisory business, across the North of England. This role will be suitable for someone that wants to be part of a growing business line, eager to learn and further develop their career where you shall focus on undertaking all aspects of valuation within not only the Healthcare sector, but with exposure to other operational real estate assets.

Success in the role derives from ensuring an enthusiastic and flexible approach to client assignments with the ability to work on your own, or as part of the team.

Key Responsibilities

Preparing trading, investment, and development valuations  Writing valuation reports  Play an active role in to developing existing and new client relationships.  Provide informed market facing advice on a variety of operational real estate sectors.  Inspections of a varied range of assets across The North.

Person Specification / Requirements

RICS qualified and a Registered Valuer Prior experience within Healthcare Valuation is preferrable, but not essential. Experience in Real Estate Valuation and exposure to the operational sectors is required. A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience Good interpersonal skills and the ability to quickly form professional relationships with colleagues and clients at all levels of seniority. Good attention to detail Advanced IT skills, in particular MS Word, Excel, and Outlook Argus Enterprise/Developer and prior experience of financial modelling would be beneficial. Full UK driving licence.

• Basic Salary from £40,000 to £55,000+ per annum
