Design Tonic relocates to Rose Wharf
The commercial interior designer liked its work so much they’ve taken 2,500 sq ft of space at the recently refurbished grade two-listed former mill along the River Aire in Leeds.
Caddick acquired the derelict building in 1996 and has been collaborating with Design Tonic on its restoration into a grade A workspace.
The letting marks the third in a matter of months, following Rabbit Hole Coffee and the renewal of longstanding tenant Curtins.
Remaining space at Rose Wharf is being marketed by Carter Towler and Fox Lloyd Jones.
The move also marks the interior designer’s first Leeds office. The company was established in Wetherby in 2019 before moving into larger premises in Scarcroft two years later.
Since its inception, the firm has worked on projects with Leeds United, Yorkshire County Cricket Club, and fellow Wetherby-based Caddick.
Amanda Cook, director at Design Tonic, said: “We instantly fell in love with the building’s charm and heritage and its city-centre proximity and picturesque riverside views make it the perfect setting for a workplace.”
