Yorkshire Housing makes leadership promotions

The housing association has appointed Sian Webster as executive director of growth and assets and Rob Parkes as executive director of finance and governance.

With 10 years of experience at Leeds-based Yorkshire Housing, Webster’s remit has been development, assets, and sustainability, and her new role will focus on building more homes and ensuring they are energy efficient.

Parkes joined the housing association in 2015 and has played a key role in securing funding to support housing developments.

Speaking about his promotion, he said: “I’m delighted to have the opportunity to step into this role.

“I’m passionate about Yorkshire Housing and what we do.

“I want us to do whatever we can to minimise the number of people who are homeless or stuck in unsuitable temporary accommodation in our region.

“I know we can do this while offering quality, affordable, well-maintained and energy-efficient homes to our existing customers.

“I’m looking forward to working with our board, leadership team and external partners to take Yorkshire Housing to the next level. Together we’ll continue to do more and maximise the positive impact on our communities.”

Webster said: “I’m passionate about creating quality homes whilst making sure we minimise our carbon footprint, and I’m looking forward to working with the team to continue driving this change and making a difference for our customers.”
