Watson Batty adds to senior team
The Leeds-based architect firm has promoted Robert Jagger, Philippa Nall, and Ben Pickersgill to director level as part of the company’s growth plan.
Jagger has been with Watson Batty for almost eight years, and previously spent 14 years at WSM, while Nall has worked at Watson Batty for three years, and has previously been at CJCT, Falconer Chester Hall, and Sense of Space.
Pickersgill has been at the firm for 21 years and has focused on industrial projects, including schemes for the company’s client Royal Mail.
Watson Batty Architects was established nearly 50 years ago as a future focused business offering architectural, interior design and master planning solutions for all sectors.
The company has also promoted John Nall and Rob Cundy to the role of associate director following their work on projects such as Oulton Secondary School in Leeds.
Former student graduate appointee Daniel Lowe is now an associate following his work on the sports and leisure team.
Peter White, managing director at Watson Batty Architects, said: “We are thrilled to announce these strategically important and highly deserved promotions.
“At Watson Batty Architects, we have an excellent track record in nurturing talent from within and we actively reward individual excellence with a shared commitment to personal development and the long-term success of the practice.
“Indeed, each of these team members have made a tangible difference to our success to date and will help shape the future of our practice as we enter our 6th decade of business in 2026.”
