Victoria Quarter bags another Northern debut

Sustainable outdoors brand Finisterre has selected the Leeds shopping destination to be its first home in the North, and will move into a 2,500 sq ft store this winter.

Owned and operated by Redical, Victoria Quarter has also recently enticed brands Wax London, Byredo, Nobody’s Child, and Tumi to use it as the launchpad for their Northern launches.

Founded in Cornwall and inspired by the sea, Finisterre is known for its responsibly made outerwear, knitwear, and everyday essentials designed for life both on and off the coast.

Rachel Bradburn, head of leasing at Redical, commented: “Finisterre is a British brand with a loyal following and a powerful purpose, and an exceptional addition to our line-up.

“Their northern debut with us at Victoria Leeds builds on the destination’s growing appeal to distinctive, values-led retailers.

“Following hot on the heels of OMNES and Dinny Hall signings, these lettings reinforce Victoria Leeds as the home of northern firsts and a leading platform for premium, design-driven brands.”

Will Sheane, chief executive at Finisterre, said: “Victoria Leeds is the perfect home for us.

“It’s right in the heart of a vibrant city with a strong sense of community and a growing appetite for sustainable, high-quality outdoor apparel.”
