TPT signs at Aire Park
The workplace pension provider is taking 23,300 sq ft across the fifth floor of 3 South Brook Street, with Savills and Colliers as joint agents.
This is the second letting for the building, following Devonshires’ move earlier this year, and will see TPT Retirement Solutions relocate its 250-person team from its current Canal Wharf offices.
Vastint’s 24-acre mixed-use district in the South Bank region of the city will have 800,000 sq ft of grade A office space.
The first two buildings on South Brook Street have already created space for over 2,000 workers, offering 190,000 sq ft of commercial space, including some of the largest floorplates available in Leeds.
While the company declined to comment on the financials, last year’s headline rent for Leeds reached £39/sq ft and was set at City Square House in Q3 2024, and Savills and Knight Frank have both reported that they expect transactions to reach and exceed £42/sq ft this year.
Michael Cronin, head of portfolio at Vastint UK, commented: “Our ambition was always to create a thriving business hub at South Brook Street, which sits alongside and supports the wider mixed-use offer within this once in a generation transformation project.”
Helen Taylor, chief people officer of TPT Retirement Solutions, said: “The site is ideal to support the future growth of our business and attract new talent. Our decision to move to Leeds’ new business community demonstrates our continued commitment to the local economy.”
